Early childhood classes are designed to spark imagination, build confidence, and introduce the joy of dance through age-appropriate movement. With a focus on rhythm, coordination, and creative expression, our youngest dancers explore ballet, tap, and tumbling in a warm, encouraging environment. Each class blends structure with play, helping children grow socially, emotionally, and physically — all while having fun and making new friends.

Technique classes are for dancers who want to build a strong foundation and continue to grow in skill, discipline, and artistry. Whether training in ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, or hip hop, students develop proper alignment, musicality, and performance quality. These courses are structured by age and experience level to ensure every dancer is challenged, supported, and empowered to reach their next stage — on their own timeline.

Meet the Director
Sarah Owens is a lifelong dancer, dedicated educator, and passionate studio owner who has spent her career helping children grow through the power of movement. With over two decades of dance experience and extensive training in ballet, jazz, tap, and contemporary styles, Sarah combines technical excellence with a deep love for teaching.
Her true passion lies in working with children — creating joyful, encouraging environments where every student feels seen, supported, and celebrated. Through her classes, Sarah helps young dancers build confidence, develop self-respect, and discover their unique voice. She believes that dance is more than steps — it’s a path to personal growth, self-expression, and lifelong resilience.
As the heart behind Next Stage Dance, Sarah leads with kindness, high standards, and a belief that every child deserves to feel proud of who they are and what they can achieve.
